Maria and Justin - Love Can Build a Bridge

Rhododendron blooming. Such a peaceful place.
And what Maria and Justin saw (and heard) on their wedding day.
Maria, the beautiful bride.
And Justin, amazed that this woman will soon be his wife.
Bryceson, Justin's son, escorts Maria.
Tender moment and Justin wipe the tears.
When we stand together
It's our finest hour
We can do anything, anything
Keep believin' in the power.
Love Can Build a Bridge - The Judds
Married!
Rings to prove it.
And Justin is proud.
Family to share in the day.
 So, so happy.
A sweet kiss for the bride.
Now you will feel no rain,
For each of you will be shelter to the other.
Now you will feel no cold,
For each of you will be warmth to the other.
Now there is no more loneliness for you.
For each of you will be companion to the other.
Now you are two bodies,
But there is only one Life before you.
Go now to your dwelling place,
To enter into the days of your togetherness.
And may your days be good and long upon the earth
Blessing of the Apaches

Wedding at Chimney Rock

Planning an outdoor wedding can be a challenge. Weather is always a concern and a back up site is an absolute necessity when guests are included. Not so much for an elopement....
Some couples stress over the possibility of rain or other unforeseen events. Not so for Samantha and Josh. Nothing was going to spoil their wedding day!
Chimney Rock State Park is a beautiful location for a small wedding. However, the elevator to the top has had it's share of problems. And if the elevator is not working, it's 550 steps to the top. Not much fun on a hot summer day. Even this, did not discourage this happy couple and their ceremony took place at Vista Rock, only 140 steps. (may not seem like a lot but trust me, my heart was pumping by the time I got there)
I truly believe every couple should have the wedding they want. And I don't think these two could have been any happier.
Yes, they did like to kiss!
And the sky cleared for photos at Lake Lure.
You are a part of everything
I think and do and feel, and with you by my side,
I believe that anything is possible.

A Time For Us - Cheryl and Henry are Married

What a perfect processional, the theme from Romeo and Juliette
 'A Time For Us'
Yes, Henry. Here is your bride. And she is beautiful!
Cheryl and Henry wanted an intimate ceremony surrounded by their family.
To some, it may seem like a 'simple' ceremony but far from it.
And now, bringing with you all the joys of your yesterdays
and the promise of all your tomorrows
will you now join your candles together as one.

And from Matthew West, 'I Do'
Take my hand, and take this ring
And know that I will always love you through anything,
And as the years march on, like a beating heart
I will live these words, til' death do us part

Time for kissing and celebrating!
Family Toast!

 Cheryl wearing her "Bride" sunglasses!

The sign says it all!
